FEBRUARY SHOWCASE

Hey there everyone! Can you believe it's March already? It's also NaNoRenO, which completely skipped my mind until yesterday. Not that I was planning on starting any new projects mind you... interestingly though, this does mark two years since I started work on Corrupter 1, and now here we are with the sequel. Speaking of...

Now people following over at Patreon will know this already, but I don't believe I've shared it with everyone else. I've been working on scenes for a brand new monster type that didn't appear in the original game! What has goat legs, a thing for wine and thinks life is one long party? Iiiit's satyrs!

The satyr scenes focus on drunken debauchery, and while I wouldn't call them consensual per se, they are a softer alternative to the very rough orc scenes, for those that way inclined. They'll be tricking our protagonists into sharing a bottle of wine and then, well, sharing a lot more than that:

Did you also notice the new background? I wasn't happy with the original forest I painted so I gave it a revisit, and I'm much happier with it now:

After finishing the satyr sprites I also realised that was the last of the monsters I have planned for game release! Seeing them put all together was a nice marker of progress:

Left to right: Atruush and his orcs, two satyrs, Ruin the minotaur, tentacle creature, mirror Artem (you need to zoom in to see, but the sprite is flipped and his eyes are different), Ollinyx the incubus, and big bad warlock himself, Lhoriss.

Next I'd like to focus on writing and finishing/tweaking the sprites (making sure proportions and colours are consistent, that they look alright when flipped, etc) and I'm still chipping away at CGs. If you're following over at Patreon, see you next week! Otherwise, I'll see you next month.
